With Valentine’s Day around the corner I put together a list of fun things to do. And it is not the usual ones like regular dinner out or a couple’s massage. 😉

1.Check out Ripley’s Aquarium Valentine’s Dinner. It is $275 + HST per couple and includes a 3 course dinner, bottle of wine, complimentary coat check and admission to the Aquarium.

2. Go to Casa Loma for Love in the City. For $60 you get to listen to Jazz, get a drink and have passed hors d’oeuvres with a very romantic vibe in the Castle.

3. For a unique experience, check out the Chelsea Hotel for a night of A Time Travelling Murder Mystery. For $119 you get to experience a dinner and a show. This event is also good for kids 6 and up if you want to make it a family occasion.

4. Check out an adult program, Love at the Zoo, where you will enjoy an evening of food as well as learn the fine art of romance as observed in the animal kingdom (sounds pretty cool). The tickets are $85 for members and $95 for non members.

5. If you like to laugh, you will love The Second City: Third Base which is a hilarious take on modern relationships. Tickets range from $30 – $47 (depending if you are getting food or not).

6. Love to dance? Check out El Rancho for their Valentine’s Weekend Dinner and dance Package. Includes a four course dinner, mariachi serenade, dance lessons, and social dancing.

7. Now if you want something formal, why not attend a Valentines Day Gala on February 16 at The Red Rose Convention Centre for the Grand Gala Valentines Edition. There will be dinner, dancing, performances, raffle, prizes and more.

These are some unique events happening in the city for Valentine’s Day. Now leave a comment with your plans for this upcoming love day.
