Since I am asked so frequently where I shop, I decided to post a blog about it and link their online stores so it’s easy for you babes to shop right away.
My style is definitely on the dressier side and almost always you will find me in a pair of stilettos (my favorite shoe). However, I am a strong believer that you do not need to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks; so I shop everywhere, whether it’s mainstream or high end stores. Today I will go over my fave mainstream stores that you can find in malls or online.
For dressier outfits:
If I am looking for a dress my go to stores are BCBG or BEBE. In both of these stores I can find various price points and their dresses are great. What I love about them is that most of the dresses are actually made for women with curves so they hug you in all the right places. However, their clothing can still run on a pricier side.
If I’m looking for something more affordable then my next stop is Zara or H&M. Their price points are much lower and if they have a sale, the price points can be amazing (between $20-$50). Both of these stores are also great for everyday looks; skirts, tops, sandals and accessories.
I also adore M for Mendocino. They have lots of cute everyday looks and amazing sweaters. Look out when they go on sale, as you can snag some amazing pieces really cheap.
For casual outfits:
I don’t usually dress down so it doesn’t make sense for me to spend a lot on those outfits ( most of the time I’m just out and about with my kids getting messy anyways). However when I do, I find amazing looks at stores like Forever 21 and Urban Planet. They are very inexpensive but have the newest, hottest styles. I admit their quality is not the best, so if you love your casual wear and live in it daily you might want to invest in better quality pieces (try Zara, H&M and Mendocino).
Shoes:
I do love my expensive shoes…Louboutins, Valentinos and Manolos, but I kill them so quickly that I rarely wear my expensive shoes since I know I will ruin them…can you relate??? So when I discovered Just Fab I fell in love. They have the cutest shoes that are actually pretty good quality for only $39.99. Also for all new customers there is a promotion where you get 2 pairs for only $39.99 (click the link to see their selection). With that price point you don’t have to feel bad about getting a few pairs. Another thing I love about them is their customer service, which is outstanding (that always scores big in my books, especially for an online retailer).
So there you have it, some of my fave stores. Let me know in the comments what’s your favorite store.
And as always, stay fabulous!
Maria, xoxo
Great tips! I have nothing right now from m but always stop at the Windows they pull me in I think I will go there to find a duster coat soon they have the nicest ones! I’m like you and love to mix high and low pieces and shoes literally can anchor your outfit they don’t have to be expensive but stylish, I do however love my sexy and comfortable Salvatore ferragamo and Stuart wietzman pumps but like you I wear the bottoms out quick and I have a love for the unforgiving Patin leather.
Sarah ~ you are a canvas
Thanks so much for commenting Sarah. Yes there is something about patent leather that makes my heart melt as well. And as much as I want to say I choose comfort over the look in shoes…sometimes that is not the case lol.
Also, never tried Salvatore pumps. Will check them out next time I’m shopping. xoxo
