I want to share with you my amazing experience at The Keg Steakhouse.
I am very impressed with them as I don’t eat red meat and used to avoid steakhouses since most offer few options except for meat. But since my hubby loves his steak we still went. And usually the “meatless” options that I have tried were far from my expectations…until now.
I have also recently found out that I have celiac which means that I cannot have any gluten. That in itself presents a bit of a pain when choosing dishes at restaurants.
To my surprise The Keg has a variety of amazing dishes that are gluten-free and even if the chosen dish has gluten they are more than accommodating to customize it and make it gluten-free.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and I had to stop to admire the amazing decor and art work in the restaurant. When I go out not only do I love good food but also good ambience since that completes my dining experience.
Don’t you just love when a venue has a great atmosphere where you can relax and have a great time?
We were seated at a nice booth and the server came promptly to take a drink order. That’s a big bonus in my books, since one of my biggest pet peeves (amongst many lol) is sitting at the table for a long time without having anyone approach.
I have ordered a yummy caesar salad, shrimp cocktail and a Ahi Tuna salad which was out of this world delicious. And nothing could have topped it better than a yummy gluten-free creme brulee. Meanwhile my husband ordered steak and lobster and a chocolate cake.
Everything was plated beautifully and tasted even better. The ambience of the restaurant is very friendly and perfect for a romantic night out or a nice dinner with the family.
With yummy food and great ambiance The Keg is a great place to meet and celebrate with family and friends, which to me is the best part of the holidays. But don’t forget to make a reservation especially if coming on the weekend, as this time of year gets super busy.
And if you still haven’t found that perfect gift for that special someone, consider getting a gift card which is a perfect way to continue the celebrations even after the holidays.
I am definitely going back as we have quite a few friends to see over the holidays. So I am already debating about what to order next (since there are too many yummy dishes to choose from).
