So this blog is long time coming but with all my trips and March break it has been crazy busy trying to catch up with work…but now that I am all caught up I will get back to my regular blogging schedule.
Anyhow I have received so many messages from you about the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach while I was there so I am going to give you the run down on this awesome hotel.
Let me start by telling you that the staff truly makes you feel like a rockstar from the very first time you step out of the car to the last minute when you check out.
When you walk into the hotel you are taken by all the modern decor and clean lines. The check in was seamless, quick and we were able to get into our room before the check in time.
The room matched the lobby decor which was clean, beautiful and modern. Make sure to get the ocean view room because the view is SPECTACULAR. There is something so magical about sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and listening to the waves. It is also a perfect way to watch the sunsets.
We could also see the pool from our room. And the pool is a perfect place to chill with a nice margarita on a hot day. It has a view of the beach as well as direct access to it. So you really have the best of both and can go between the two easily. My favourite part about the pool was that they had cabanas and they did not charge extra for them. I don’t know about you but I always sit in the shade and in all other hotels that I stayed they charge exorbitant fees for their cabanas. So it was very exciting to lounge in one that I didn’t pay an arm and a leg for. And….they have amazing staff walking around all day taking drink and food orders and making sure guests have everything they need.
Which brings me to my next point and that is the food. You guys know that I am quite a foodie and when the food is bad it ruins my experience. Luckily this was not the case at all. The chef at Sessions was great and everything we tried tasted delicious. What was really cool is that they served most kids meals in cardboard vintage cars which kids could take home as souvenirs.
Hard Rock Daytona Beach also has live performances outside almost every night. It was great to sit down with a glass of wine and listen to live music as I don’t get this experience in many places.
Lastly, if you are not yet convinced to stay at Hard Rock Daytona Beach it is only an hour drive away from Disney World. So you can still have the full Disney experience with the addition of the beach which Orlando doesn’t have. We took a drive to Disney Springs one night for dinner and it was such an enjoyable drive. So if you are looking to go to Disney but also love the beach, this is a perfect location that allows you to experience both plus so much more. And there are many cool places to go to in Daytona as well, click here to check out all the fun things we did.
Check out the video below where I compiled the amazing amenities of the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach and you will see why I had such an amazing time there.
I always love hearing from you so leave a comment or question and let me know your favourite travel destination.
*Experiences in this post have been provided for my review, but as always ALL opinions are my own. And as I always say, if I won’t have it for myself or my family I will NEVER promote it.*
Great place!
It really is!
